Last year the CERAFILTEC equipment was installed, and since January of this year all 12 trains have been in operation at their design capacity. The plant can deliver a total capacity of up to 143,000 m³/d, making it the world’s largest drinking water plant using ceramic flat membrane technology.
With the ACLF (Active Cake Layer Filtration) process, a unique combination of adsorption and ultrafiltration, additional dissolved water contents are filtered out directly.
