Cerafiltec to showcase advanced ceramic filtration technology at IFAT Munich 2026
Cerafiltec will exhibit its latest ceramic membrane filtration technology at IFAT Munich 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies. Visitors will be able to find the company at Hall B2, Stand 238, from 4–7 May.
At the event, Cerafiltec experts will demonstrate how its flat-sheet ceramic membrane solutions not only deliver exceptional performance but have a lifetime up to five times longer than standard polymeric membranes. Designed for durability, efficiency, and long-term performance, the technology is suitable for drinking water, sewage, and industrial water applications, and enables operators to achieve superior filtration with lower energy consumption and reduced operational costs.
The team will host a live filtration demonstration on the stand, offering visitors a realistic look at how Cerafiltec’s filtration process works in practice. The ceramic flat sheet membrane solution is more than just a common ultra filtration. In conjunction with developed pre-treatment processes, e.g. active cake layer filtration for a selective removal of dissolved ions, Cerafiltec provides a superior filtration solution. Therewith, achieving unprecedented filtered water quality, and consequently being the best pre-filtration solution for all nano filtration and reverse osmosis applications.
Unlike conventional polymeric membranes, Cerafiltec’s ceramic modules are engineered for long service life and resistance to harsh conditions, delivering consistent filtration performance even under demanding industrial and municipal applications.
“Ceramic membranes are changing what operators can expect from filtration performance,” said Torsten Wintergerste CEO at Cerafiltec. “Our goal is to help customers rethink what is possible in water treatment by combining robust materials with smart process design. IFAT Munich is the ideal platform to demonstrate how ceramic filtration can deliver both performance and sustainability at scale.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with technical experts, discuss specific application challenges, and explore how ceramic membrane technology can support reliable, future-proof water treatment solutions. In addition to the technology showcase, Cerafiltec will offer a relaxed setting on the stand 238 in Hall 2.
